In whole Europe, the Sziget festival in Budapest is well known and many people will travel to Hungary to enjoy the music at Sziget. This year, over 400.000 visitors are expected!
Unfortunately, the Embassies have the experience that some people loose their bag, passport or other important documents. In some cases, Embassies need to be contacted for assistance.
The EU Embassies and the Embassies of Norway and Switzerland have a service points at the festival. This is a result of close collaboration between the Embassies, the Budapest Police and the management of Sziget Festival.
Our service point is situated at Copland and will be opened from 8-12 August from 12.00 till 19.00. During these hours, there will be employees from several Embassies present who will try to help finding solutions for consular problems!
